Let's talk with Cheryl Pierce, RN, MSN, & Founder of Skinworx:
1. Hi Cheryl. I am fascinated with your journey to entrepreneurship after 20 years of being a nurse. I'm sure you are such an inspiration to many women to go after their dream to become an entrepreneur. What inspired you to start a skincare company called "Skinworx"?
When I was growing up I felt like I had no voice. I was quiet, painfully shy, and struggled to adjust. I tried to grow my confidence and find myself throughout high school and eventually college. After college, I became a nurse, but I never felt like it was my true calling.
In 2000 I came to the realization that my real dream was helping people live better happier and more fulfilling lives. That is when my journey began and in 2007, I opened my first business, Ageless Beauty Skin Clinic, Inc.

After several years of doing the same thing day in and day out (even though I loved what I was doing), I began feeling very restless, and I also started having visions of evolving my old business into a fresh new concept. But fear stopped me from taking the first step.

I've ignored my dream too long and it was time to execute this concept of inspiring confidence and joy through better skin.

This background has given me the ability to merge inner and outer beauty together and introduce inner beauty development into Skinworx’s menu.
