Budget For Emergency Saving

It's best to have some money automatically deposited into your savings account for an emergency situation. You never know when an unexpected emergency may rear its ugly head.

Anything can happen; for instance, there may come a day when you need those old so dreaded:
  • Automobile repairs
  • Refrigerator repairs.
  • Tire replacements.
  • The food is spoiling.
  • Holiday spending

It's too late to think about that money you threw away on something since-less last week. It's time to nip it in the bud and learn to be more self-sufficient in your saving plan.

Well, if you prepare ahead of time, you won't have to borrow money or use those high-interest credit cards which cause you to go into more debt. I know it's hard, but it is better to sacrifice now; instead of, regretting it later.

Even a $500 savings is a big help in those unexpected incidents. I know you're saying how can I save that, living paycheck to paycheck.

Budget Your Money By Sacrificing

  • Pay Yourself first

Well, I'm not going to lie, you are going to have to sacrifice. It will be worth it in the long run. You will have to designate a certain amount to automatically go to a savings account for emergencies only.

According to Money Talk News,

Payroll deduction is among the best fixes for struggling savers. With this approach, you have money automatically taken from your paycheck and transferred to a savings account or retirement account. Your employer may even allow you to directly deposit paychecks into multiple accounts.

Also, send any additional income from raises, bonuses, cash awards or other windfalls straight to savings.

  • Keep The Change

Put some money in a jar, envelope, or piggy bank and save it for later. That way when you go shopping, you won't be as tempted to use the change in your pockets or purse. When the jar is full deposit it into your bank account.

Eventually, those dollars and coins you saved can be used for Christmas gifts, vacations, or whatever you desire. This will keep you from going into your emergency savings account on those special occasions.

Sometimes those extra coins at the end of the year can be used to help pay down debt.

  • Limit Credit Card Use

The bonus is not using credit cards for these purchases; which helps you save more in the long run. Use your credit card only when necessary. When you have to use them, be sure to pay the bill on time and pay more than the minimum amount to get rid of the debt quicker.
*Hint- Wrap a note around your credit card saying, "is this a necessity?"

Comparison Shop To Find Cheaper Prices

Some stores will match the price of their competitors: therefore, you don't have to waste gas going from store to store to get a deal. You can always check online before you go shopping. Use coupons for grocery stores, restaurants, and some other stores. Some coupon users are so good at it, that they practically get some stuff for almost free.

Sign up For Restaurant's Email List

There are some Restaurants, that if you sign up for their email list, they send you coupons all through the year. Some of them even send you a coupon for a free dinner on your birthday. Wouldn't you like to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner free on your birthday? Of course, they would be from different restaurants. Some places that have given birthday dinners or discounts are Ruby Tuesday and Fire House, among others. Here are 97 Restaurants that give you free food on your birthday.

Now that you have learned some ways to save money. Let's start to enjoy a stress-free life. Remember the less stress you have cuts down on unnecessary illnesses which may make you miss work causing a doctor bill and loss of income. We don't want that. Have a blessed day, saving money for your future!
